  We have attended a medical meeting for few days in a near by hotel function room. We stayed in Waldorf St Martins as it was only 100 m from the function venue and about 40% cheaper. We did not expect too much as we were mainly after a cheaper rate. What a surprise. Our 2 bedroom apartment which costs us about $15 less than the other hotel was modern,much larger than the other place we use to say in our Auckland visits, more modern and nicely furnished.   Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was exactly what I had booked the bonus being a view out over the city and harbour. Amazing! Later in the afternoon, from our room, we saw the "Sea Princess" cruise ship cruising out of the harbour. What an awesome sight. Beautiful food and nicely presented - Spacious well appointed family apartment with lovely views over the harbour and city but only minutes into the city. We stayed in an inner city apartment for the first part of our stay and the minute I walked into the apartment at Quality Hotel Parnell I felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders and that I was really on holiday. Was great to have an outdoor play area that the apartment overlooked, it gave the children a little freedom and allowed us to relax. Loved it and would definately g
