  The staff were probably the most helpful I have come across in 30 years of travelling the world. They even tracked us down by phone to tell us that a museum we thought closed at 9 was to close at 7. Our room was pretty small, but to be expected from a city centre hotel, especially in Amsterdam, however it was immaculately presented, beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable we nearly didn't make it up in the morning.   Very easy to use hotel. Self serve check in when you get there (a bank of about five computers), so you aren't waiting for a person to take care of you. Someone is nearby for the technically challenged. The rooms are what I would call "pods". Small rooms with everything compact and easy to reach. The photos online tell the story. Very comfort... what people say » able in every aspect. Temperature, tv, lighting, etc all controlled by the "mood pad" (remote). I was able to easily drop the temp a couple of degre - This is one of top three hotels I have ever stayed in (and there were some!), but I cannot remember the other two :). Giving this hotel a 10 would mean that the other few I rated as 10 should now be re-rated to 8. :) Everything was great. The technical stuff in the room, funny saying everywhere, some might find "self-check-in" a bother, but I liked a new experience and there was always extremely polite and friendly staff around to help. All in all - 7min walk from Amsterdam Zuid train station.

I stayed in a twin room and there was plenty space! Beautiful shower and bath, with a toilet in a separate room.
