We love this hotel, it was very clean, comfort, convenient and well-trained staffs. Little quiet if compare with the other big city's location but we prefer staying at this hotel. I stayed for 3 nights in a corner double room on the 27th floor. My rood did not have a view of Tokyo Tower, but it was not a big issue for me at all as it had a view of the Rainbow Bridge.
The staff is of course very friendly courteous.
The room was fairly spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. I have no opinion as to the food as I had no chance to eat at any of those restaurants in the hotel. The bakery and convenient store on the lobby floor somewhat had a variety on the menu.

Compared to other Five star hotels in Tokyo that I have stayed in, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the best so far. It has a wonderful and convenient location, a luxurious and comfortable room. The service levels were the best, every staff catered to my every problem, they even accompanied me to the train station to help me out.
I would recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Tokyo!

This hotel is the second best I have ever stayed at, only being surpassed by the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The staff were fantastic, I have never been served by more attentive staff at any hotel. The room was fabulous, we were given one on the top floor with an awesome view, the amenities in the room, everything was spotless and clean. Overall a very good hotel. The minimum charge was around 22,000yen/night when I booked, which I first thougt was a bit expensive for a hotel away from center of Tokyo. But a friend recommended and when I stayed for 3 nights, I think it is one of the best good-value hotel I have ever been to.

This is my second time in this hotel. Check-in and check-out were both smooth. The hotel is elegantly clean as always. Staff are polite and friendly.

We had o oarganise extremely urgent flights, taxis & transfers coaches to Niseko. Having someone like Ishida who showed initiaitve & outstanding customer service was a complete god send to us at a very stressful time.

After a long day of traveling around , you can relax in a jaguzzi with warm and flower bath salt. The staff professionally help me ship parcels to the next hotel in Osaka. The shuttle bus from Shinagawa station is also helpful. This hotel is much better than excellent.

The hotel has many wings and rooms with different profiles. The cheaper ones are standard Japanese business hotels, i.e. very small, cheap, functional. The more expensive ones give more space and luxury. Both offer good (if not extraordinary) value for money IMHO.
The unique selling point of this hotel is that it's a 3min walk from Shinagawa station from which you can get Shinkansen to Kyoto/Osaka, and Yamanote for pretty much anywhere.
