The Concierge, Mrs Fukazawa, was truly excellent. She has superb English and she is always excited to help with any question. She has excellent ideas for how to help her guests and thinks well ahead to ensure success and comfort. Fukazawa-san is a real treasure of the Sheraton! Furthermore, I would like to commend Mrs Ohkushi of the Reservations Team for excellent work. When we had to change plans at short notice due to typhoon and related bad weather, she showed excellent flexibility to ensure.
all reviews » We were fortunate enough to meet Ishida (I think he was a concierge). We had o oarganise extremely urgent flights, taxis & transfers coaches to Niseko. Having someone like Ishida who showed initiaitve & outstanding customer service was a complete god send to us at a very stressful time. We thankyou & all of your staff for having at least one to two staff who could speawk clear English. Sheraton Miyako Hotel is situated in Shirogane residential area in the heart of Tokyo. The surrounding area is worth exploring and easy access to other parts of Tokyo. Highly recommended. Japanese garden of the hotel is beautiful!. Most comfortable bed I've tried in years. Location alright, near a minor subway station and hotel provides shuttle to larger station. Taxi rides from Shibuya (and I guess Roppongi also) not too bad around USD 15 - 20. Warm atmosphere in lobby, nice location, great view on the garden from the room, there is shuttle bus that stops to the closest subway station (which is actually just a couple of minutes walk) and Meguro station. Very good location, nice and friendly staff. They provide you with maps and guidelines how to get around. Importantly, they have a free shuttle bus that picks you up from Meguro subway station every 15 minutes. Everything! I only wish we could have stayed longer Beautiful garden, comfortable rooms. No airconditioning. Not brand new hotel but still very good. Had to pay to use pool. Chose not to. Would have liked it if it was included. Laundry too expensive - $5 per t-shirt, even for a 5 star hotel, is too much. 100% surcharge for overnight service also too much. Some rooms don't include access to gym even if room costs more than $us 200 per night. The room needs replenishment esp. bath room. We had difficulty at the beginning to get into WIFI but after calling they told us how to install it. Whenever I ( & colleagues) have stayed the only thing that lets the hotel down is the breakfast - not enough variety, no Japanese breakfast, always have to wait to seat. Please improve. Only have 3 times a day to Haneda Airport. We need to take a train to airport eventually. It would be good if the baby chairs had safety belts or a tray table so that it is safe for them to use. The restaurants are not worth the price you pay. I guess the thing there is less protein more carbs... Small room,pay much money. Bathroom is not good enough.
