We love this hotel, it was very clean, comfort, convenient and well-trained staffs. Little quiet if compare with the other big city's location but we prefer staying at this hotel. The interior decoration is very unique and charming with white and classic styles of color, the bed is so comfortable, we do recommend this hotel for our friends, family, couples and any people who prefer classic, charming and stylish hotel in Tokyo.
all reviews » Up to now the nicest hotel I sayed in Tokyo.. Amazing location close to the Emperor´s Gardens, Ginza and Tsukiji Fish market. The concierge took care of everything I asked - gave all infos, booked tickets, arranged for transport. Very well equiped rooms with funny colonial charme. Pleasant and helpful staffs was nice experiences in staying at Daiichi Hotel Tokyo. Good location in wellknown area with easy facilities around was an applause to this hotel as well. Excellent location, very close to the Shimbashi station and the Ginza area. Rooms are good size with classy decoration. Very attentive service. Hotel is quite for its size. The location was very useful for my needs. The Location. Room service. Nothing at all. No buffet breakfast available. Swimming pool is in a separate building with an access from the street , so it is impossible to get there directly from the hotel . It is required to go out , cross the road ,and go by walk 3 minutes , including street elevator.. It would be a little noisy when the JR train passed by. Especially at the midnight. But maybe it unavoidable because the location of the hotel is too near to the JR station!. Too close to major rail transport corridor and hence noisy at times; 21f Restaurants very expensive. Poor restaurants: a) weak breakfast, b) a Japanese restaurant on the top with excellent view, but very limited menu, c) a Teppanyaki restaurant with very slow service, overpriced. D) a lounge with nothing to drink, even not if I pay for that during daytime. Breakfast extremely overpriced. Use of gym and pool not included in room price but was charged separately. Only one english channel, no complimentary water. English is still a problem after all these years. pricey lobby bar. Breakfast is expensive. no free coffee drink at room. No complimentary drinking water and have to pay to use the Gym and pool!!!!. None. No breakfast buffet. no. breakfast is a expensive considering it is not a buffet. Also I think the "sky bar" closes a bit early, especially at Saturday. It is better If there will be a direct transportation means between daiichi and narita airport. breakfast is too expensive and limited choice.not worth paying for it. every hour, noisy due to train passing by. Breakfast. The hotel, which I imagine was once quite grand, is now a little tired. Unfortunately, the prices within the hotel have kept pace with, and sometimes exceeded, the times. Poor reception upon arrival at 6 am on a Sunday after 15 hour flight. Left to hang around. Should have a half day rate - many hotels in Asia have this and I cannot see why this cannot be provided for a few hours stay!. The accoustic in my room was awful. I could hear every minutes the trains leaving the stations. I also do think that the room I had need some renovations. For me the confort was closer to a 4 stars than a 5 stars hotel. The swimming pool was in a different building and children under 18 were not allowed in the swimming pool even with parental supervision. Breakfast was not included with the room. Hotel is obsolete, looks pathetic. The hotel isn't comfortable at all, it can't be described as a hotel!!! The gym was outside the hotel, and hardly you can call it a gym Take my advice and don't stay in this hotel. I didn't face any problem with the staff at all, everything was fine, but the hotel it self and facilities doesn't help to prompt this hotel.
