The hotel is placed right in front of the Tokyo tower, in the Shiba park, and it's right next the Zojo-ji temple. You can access within 5 minutes the E and I lines of the subway and get quickly to roppongi, ginza, and anywhere you need. The service is excellent - especially the staff working at conciergerie. We had a small issue with the toilet flushing and we were assisted within 15 minutes. Views are awesome. I suggest a corner room - not he cheapest but definitively worth the experience. Th.
all reviews » I stayed for 3 nights in a corner double room on the 27th floor. My rood did not have a view of Tokyo Tower, but it was not a big issue for me at all as it had a view of the Rainbow Bridge. The staff is of course very friendly courteous. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. I have no opinion as to the food as I had no chance to eat at any of those restaurants in the hotel. The bakery and convenient store on the lobby floor somewhat had a variety on the menu. This Hotel is a beautiful 5 star Hotel with a central location. Two metro lines are really close (Mita and Oedo line - operated byToei line). The service was just excellent, and the room is beautiful and clean. The view from the 18th level was just beautiful. Tokyo tower is just a few steps. Do not miss the Hotel Bar on the 33rd level! Hot spring and sauna is available for 2000 JPY and it is open till 10pm. Everything we need is here and staff is world class. The location is perfect. Easy access to nearby train stations, especially with the complimentary shuttle bus to and from a major train hub. The surrounding area is by far the most appealing point as it creates a buffer between you and the rest of the cityscape. The Prince Park is an oasis of quiet and comfort in TOKYO.Located in a big park it shares with several temples and shrines, and the iconic Tokyo Tower,it is in a central location but buffered from the noise of the city. The wifi connection was not strong, I needed to go to the lobby area to be able to use the wifi for making calls. Some 5 mins walk to closest subway station. We couldn't fault it and would definitely go back. The interiors of the room show their age, but are still within an acceptable level. Cleaning and small repairs would make their age less noticable and bring back their elegance. You can only get money with Mastercard at the postoffice which is not close by. This is a Japan problem (not a problem from this hotel). It was a pitty that the room didn't have a view of Tokyo Tower, but I think for the rest we got what we expected. Very pricey. Location issue. The closest metro station has limited connections. They tried to solve this problem by providing a free shuttle service with 30 min intervals to the Hamama.....station. This improved the situation for sure. Extra charge for the hotel guests using indoor swimming pool. Lack of a proper lobby where to meet friends. There wasn't anything I didn't like, they had thought of everything. the location of the hotel is not good theres nothing intresting in the hotel area ...if you want to go to nice and lively area then you must waste 5 min walking to train station then it takes you like 10 to 15 to 30 min to arrive to nice places. All restaurants and cafes on site are very expensive. 1000 yen for a coffee, more than 3000 for breakfast, etc. There are no nearby alternatives. Not enough seating areas in the lobby facing the main entrance. This made it difficult to spot arriving friends. But this is just minor compared to the overall excellent quality. At night surrounding location seems a little bit too quite. this might be actually a PLUS for some people. There was no free coffee in the room, sad because I don't eat breakfast and the cost of eating in the hotel was expensive compared to other eating facilities in the area. The bus from the airport to the hotel was very convenient (direct) but there was no bus after 3 o'clock in the afternoon for the return trip. Somewhat of a nuisance for me since I had a late evening flight. however, I did find a good connection via bus from the central train station. Room deck out is dated. Pool is $20 per use, should be incl in hotel stay, plus no kids allowed. Breakfast is not included and expensive. No restaurants close by and hotel restaurants are very expensive. Went for dinner at the upstairs restaurant and was turned away because we had a baby (who was sleeping). Hotel ATM does not wk for foreign cards. Nothing. Everything was perfect. I booked through letsbookhotel.com and I saved a lot, pity that the rate they charged me for the early check in (landed at 6 am) was a full rate which is 54% higher than what I psi through this site. Formally correct but not fair. Nicely located in a park, and close to Roppongi, but along the Toei Line (no Tokyo Metro or JR train nearby), so you need to change lines several times to reach your different destinations. Rooms are small & tiny Price are bet high Breakfast buffet needs more international dishes. It is quite expensive. Breakfast is ridicously expensive compared with other hotels in the same category. The decor was a bit out of date, but it was very comfortable and clean The balcony (off the 20th floor) has a step that could be a tripping hazard - would not recommend upper floors with balconies to someone with young children or someone prone to tripping. A little bit far from the nearest jr station, about 15mins walk. Cost to use gym and hotel about $40 for each session ! Prohibitively expensive. AC was not working properly. Not possible to get the room temp below 24C. Not a big thing though, since we were comfortable at that temp. Nothing. Not much activity around the hotel. Extra charges for most facilities. Very expensive restaurants. The hotel room rates, food and drink was unnecessarily expensive. No microwave. The size of the room.
