  This is such a lovely, small hotel in a fabulous location for touring Paris on foot, centrally located to most of the major sites and attractions. The staff is warm, friendly and most helpful. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and a welcome respite from the busy city. The lift does not go all the way to the top fl... what people say » oor, so if this is an issue, request a room on the first five floors. We stayed at Hotel Chomel for seven nights and loved it. We would return witho - We booked from a courtyard where our apartment had fallen through, in the very nice neighborhood where it and Chomel are located, t 8:30 p.m. Arrived at 8:40. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.

  The hotel is very cute, everything seems to be newly remodeled and painted. Everything was clean. The room was actually not that small by European hotel standards; there was room for the bed and several feet of floor space. Its right around the corner from the metro (Jacques Bonsergent).   The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were adequate. Nothing fancy and met our needs. TV, non smoking rooms parking garage and easy walk to the train station. Easy to find the hotel however parking could be a problem as there are limited available spaces compared to ration of rooms.   The hotel is within 5 minutes walk of two metro stops, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice. We stayed at only budget hotels throughout our vacation in Europe and this was one of the nicer ones. - Location and friendly staff.
