  This is such a lovely, small hotel in a fabulous location for touring Paris on foot, centrally located to most of the major sites and attractions. The staff is warm, friendly and most helpful. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and a welcome respite from the busy city. The lift does not go all the way to the top fl... what people say » oor, so if this is an issue, request a room on the first five floors. We stayed at Hotel Chomel for seven nights and loved it. We would return witho - We booked from a courtyard where our apartment had fallen through, in the very nice neighborhood where it and Chomel are located, t 8:30 p.m. Arrived at 8:40. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.

The room was actually not that small by European hotel standards; there was room for the bed and several feet of floor space. Its right around the corner from the metro (Jacques Bonsergent).   It was a perfect stay and I totally recommend this hotel to anyone whodoesn't have a car, since car parking in the front of the hotel can belittle difficult but this is the only disadvantage. When using metro forgetting around, it is near two metro stations, staff is very helpful andthe rooms are very secure. We will certainly stay in this hotel ne... what people say » xttime we visit Paris. - Very good value for money - good-sized, comfortable room and excellent breakfast included in price. Although the hotel is very close to the main railway line from the Gare St-Lazare, with the window closed there was very little train noise.
