It is a family run business with only the positive aspects of it. It has secure parking and above standard cleanliness, which are not easy to find in Croatia. We also got a welcome drink and a small present when we left. (Stayed only for 4 nights) . We left with great memories and it we would not stay anywere else if we go back to Opatija.

  The location is very convenient. Icici is a very nice town and the Villa is a short walk to the beach (we enjoyed our coffee there in the morning...with the sun and the view). The bathroom has a bathtub for soaking. The hotel has free access to a pool and a jacuzzi inside a greenhouse, so it's warm and comfortable even when the weather outside... what people say » is not. There is also a wellness center with sauna and hammam. The restaurant is not exceptional, but good. The hotel is a small structure, very quie - The staff were friendly and helpful, and made my entire family (including my children, ages 6 and 4) feel welcome. We stayed in a two- bedroom suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was diverse, and the kitchen was more than happy to prepare scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage upon request. For those with a car, the location is perfect - we explored the entire Istrian peninsula as well as parts of Slovenia.

  This was the best experience I've ever had with lodging. Our flight arrived in late at night. We were tired and hungry. We were able to skip checkin and go directly to the apartment. The owner was kind enough to bring us food from his own apartment so that we would have something to eat.   This was the best apartments we ever stayed for such price – spacious, comfortable, especially clean and good equipped. We had very nice apartment with sea view on third floor. The balcony was in such a place that there were no sun all day round! Little bit tidy bathroom, but still with everything you would need, even bidet! The - I liked everything about the apartment and it's owners. Excellently equipped apartments, new furniture, quiet area near center and the beach and the owners were so friendly it was a real pleasure to stay there. We liked and appreciated really much the gift champagne and wines, it was really a nice surprise, and a great start of our vacation to drink the nice wine on the balcony - it's very rare that you get such gifts in other hotels/apartments.

  Our room (Deluxe double with sea view) was very spacious, brand new and immaculately clean. Calling it a sea view is a stretch but we were very comfortable and the staff were friendly. We would stay here again.

  This place was a charming, modern, clean family run hotel. They had a great restaurant with locally grown and home grown food, oils and wines which they served with great service and friendliness. It was really fully furnished, nothing was missing to make us feel like we're at home. It is very close to the sea and a nice pebble beach. The main road carrying lots of traffic is very close by but the apartment is situated at a distance from it so the traffic does not disturb you. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the terrace on the 2nd floor is fabulous. We will definitely come back!

  We had one of the apartments and it was huge! There were decks to sit out on to take in the view. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom, everything very clean and nicely decorated.Breakfast selections were amazing - almost anything you could want! So close to beach: across the street and down some steps. Nice quiet relaxing stop on our trip. We changed hotel after we spent two nights in an awful resort and were lucky enough to get a room in the Grand Hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was lovely and our room with a balcony felt like a small apartment rather than a room. Thanks for a fabulous stay, we're looking forward to coming back!
