  We booked studio apartment but got the big 2 bed apt as it was free and the host was so kind to offer us a free upgrade ;) Apt was really nice with lovely sitting room/kitchen area, in the center of Old Town. The location was perfect, charming and unforgettable, few steps away from the main square but very quiet. All necessary stuff was in the ap... what people say » t, kitchen was well equipped, no problems with hot water or air con, big flat-screen tv - would be great for a family or a group of friends. - Location was quiet but not far from everything. Steps could be difficult for older folk, however the owner was there to help with our cases. The room and facilities were clean and inviting and added to our stay in Dubrovnik. The owner looked after us well and nothing was too much trouble.

  The staff were extremely helpful right from the beginning, from giving directions to certain attractions, booking taxis, to recommending restaurants. Everything they helped us with was brilliant, the restaurant the receptionist recommended was the best meal we ate all week, and not too expensive either - but still very romantic! There was a small kitchenette area outside our room which was a nice surprise as we hadn't realised this when we booked, so it was possible for u - It's a great location just of the Stradun, really easy to get around to the cable car, the walls, restaurants etc. **Tip** Take a backpack and not suitcases, there are a LOT of steps in Dubrovnik old town and carrying a suitcase up and down them is a bit of a pain. don't let that put you off staying in the old town though, it's romantic and beautiful.   It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly. We were met with the warmest of welcomes from the charming owner, Dubravka, who speaks fluent English.
