  We highly recommend staying at this studio. It was impeccably clean and comfortable and has all the amenities one could wish for including a washing machine, large tv, dvd player (+dvds), microwave etc. Mirica and Vicko are such welcoming hosts who make sure that you have everything you need. The location is fantastic, just two minutes from the ol... what people say » d town with all it's cosy restaurants. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun after a day of activities! - Vicko meeting us at ferry port in his big 4x4, and later taking us back. Since it wasn't booked and we stayed for 2 days he let us have a very spacious duplex apt so I cannot comment on what the smaller rooms are like. Korcula is a gorgeous little gem of a town and I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant prices which seem to be much cheaper than those in the other very touristy places we stayed in - Split, Brac, Hvar, Cavtat.

  The apartment is exactly as described, situated in a brilliant location to explore Korcula (just a few steps away from the main gate to the old city and a short walk away to the bus station) and it's easy to find (right behind the main post office). We had to collect the keys from a travel agency situated on the main street just outside the old ci... what people say » ty, on the way from the bus station to the apartment, which in fact makes things very easy. The decoration is very nice, the kitchen is fully equipped - Good location just outside the main entrance to the old town (so you avoid having to go up the steps with luggage!). The apartment was a good size, cool and comfortable. The bathroom was big but the as others have noted the shower cubicle was small. It was actually fine, but if you were overweight then it could be an issue.

The owner Marijana met me right at the boat port, led me to her house (3min walk), explained about what there was to do and what was happening on korcula during my stay. She was amazing, her apartment super clean (room and toilet). Facilities are okay but you really do not need more than wifi air conditioning a... what people say » nd a closet. - Just outside walled city (still in historical Korcula), half-way between city center and bus station (useful to explore other towns on the island). Short walk to ferry terminals as well. Friendly staff (picked up at the terminal to show the way and we even got a nice goodbye present). When you go, don't forget to pet Marco the cat :)

  The Marco Polo Apartments are located conveniently in the Old City of Korcula. The owner Edita came to meet us when we reached the gate of the city to direct us to our accommodations. Any accommodation, like this one, within the old city is convenient since Korcula is not a big place.   Anna & her husband were so friendly and nice and couldn't do enough for you. They picked us up at the bus and dropped us off as well as took us into town to hire bikes. They provided us with plently of information and were very willing to assist in anyway they could. When we got the bikes we hadn't taken our ID and Anna kindly left hers which ... what people say » was very trusting of her. The location is great, nice and quiet but yet not far from Korcula town (3km). The hiring of bikes was great as the roads we - Ana was the most helpful and welcoming host we have ever had! The villa was in an idyllic location, with a beautiful beach with the most beautiful crystal clear water - perfect for swimming and relaxing! It is 10 minutes out of the town in a car, but I would recommend staying here as the beaches in the town are no where near as nice as this. The villa was spotlessly clean and the balcony was huge! I felt truly relaxed after 3 nights here!

  Having spent several childhood and adult holidays in Korcula, I was impressed by the White House apartments. Some of the other reviews have commented on power cuts - I can say that this isn't unusual at all in Korcula, especially when it rains (we've even had lightbulbs explode outdoors in restaurants)! The power went off when we were there too - ... what people say » just a case of flipping a switch in the fuse box in the corridor. We had full working wifi there so obviously those issues of the first few weeks were - The apartment was in the centre of the old town, very clean and bright with a lovely balcony where you can enjoy evening drinks. The only one issue is you can hear people moving around upstairs. Despite this it was defiantly one of the best we stayed at in Croatia. The owner was very very helpful also.

  This place is awesome. It is quite far from the Korcula town, but views from the rooms are just stunning. Owner Nada is very helpful and friendly, she also picked us from ferry terminal which was so kind. Beds, toilets, kitchen amentities etc. everything are of good quality.   As soon as I arrived in Korcula I phoned the number listed by letsbookhotel.com and was greeted by the delightful Sanja within minutes. She kindly helped me with my luggage up to the first floor where this lovely apartment is located above and art shop. You're right in the heart of the old town and the location is just fantastic. Sanja's (very handsome!) son, Filip, was on his way back from Split when I arrived a - It was a small place in the old town itself right behind the cathedral. You could really feel the old town in these little streets. There are many places to eat really near. The host was really kind to meet us at the entrance of the town, help us with the luggage and tell us some things about the town and the island.
