Having spent several childhood and adult holidays in Korcula, I was
impressed by the White House apartments. Some of the other reviews have
commented on power cuts - I can say that this isn't unusual at all
in Korcula, especially when it rains (we've even had lightbulbs
explode outdoors in restaurants)! The power went off when we were there
too - just a case of flipping a switch in the fuse box in the corridor.
We had full working wifi there so obviously those issues of the first
few weeks were. all reviews »
The apartment was in the centre of the old town, very clean and bright with a lovely balcony where you can enjoy evening drinks. The only one issue is you can hear people moving around upstairs. Despite this it was defiantly one of the best we stayed at in Croatia.
The owner was very very helpful also.
Excellent arrival/ departure, knowledge, helpfulness. Filip was available at a moments notice. White House is a good budget option, standard facilities, not boutique, in the town. 2nd floor apartment has a nice terrace.

The location, korcula is a gem nice place to stay for a day or two, also
filip's mom came to meet us at the bus station and made sure we knew
how to get ferry tickets for the next day.
The apartments are completely new! everything was clean and tidy.

As with all stays in old towns, be prepared to carry luggage some
distance, across cobbles & up stairs.
Building could use a light over front door.
Bed was so hard, room dark with few windows. We were in the studio on
the 3rd floor, the 2nd floor apt looked much nicer with large windows
and a terrace. The blanket also had a lot of strange fibers on it
making the mattress appear dirty. The first floor apt didn't look
very nice either. We were in Korcula on Sunday and even many of the
churches were closed.
The apartments are on top of the old city! too many stairs to carry with luggage!
Internet doesn't work, we borrow wifi from the neighbor.
Despite the apartment description, there was no wifi. We were asked to
use a neighbor's wifi, which did not work. Apparently this was
because we were the "first" guests to stay in the room. Though
you'll see others on letsbookhotel.com have had similar experiences.
Also the AC and power went out in the middle of the night. I'm not sure it was in all of Korcula or just at the apts, but it was inconvenient.
