The hotel is really nice! The rooms are big, the staff is polite and helpful. The location is perfect: the hotel is situated near the city centre (15 min. by the tram or 7 min. by metro), but far from nosy streets. We also liked the breakfast. The price is completely fair. We absolutely satisfied of our stay in the Hotel: loation, comfort, interior, etc. Especial gratitude for breakfast dishes.

I had in my personal shower kit so didn't bother to find out if this is a hotel policy or just a mistake... The building and the room are old. Basic breakfast. Smallish room but adequate for 3-4 nights. You can hear everything that happens in the room next door and in the hallway! Water not very hot. no airconditioning in 40 C and only yellow curtains (not dark). No free wi-fi in the rooms. slowely it needs to be refurbished. No air contitioner and no soap in the bathroom. Hotel is run-down, needs work. Tv was 1960's and had 4 channels. Internet was only available in lobby and cost $12 per day. Bathtub was cracked. Ran out of hot water. One of the slats under my foam mattress fell out. Very underwhelming for Vienna. It was very hot in the rooms with no aircon and there is no wifi. When I arrived the receptionist said that my booking was cancelled because the credit card was declined and as a result he could only offer me a room with a double-bed for 60 euros as opposed to the 50 euros that I initially confirmed.I Felt that I was taken advantage of being that I had arrived late at night and was too tired to look for another hotel.I Did not appreciate that at all. The lack of investment in the rooms, in the equipment, ... furnishings, ... appointments.
