  Of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip to Krakow, Salzburg and Vienna, the Hotel Savoy Garni was our absolutely our favorite! The women behind the front desk when we checked in was warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and graciously answered all of our questions. The underground and city map the - Location was fabulous, a few minutes walk from the museum quarter, 15mins or so to st stephens catherdral and the shopping streets, underground only a few minutes walk, supermarket across the street, cafe and restaurants galore. Street is parallel to a street with more shoes, handbags and clothing stores you could wish for, staff very obliging all in all a great hotel.

  The hotel is lovely and decorated with many interesting pieces of art. The breakfast was excellant with very high quality food. The location is very good and within walking distance to the museums, the Hofburg and old town section. Two U-Bahn stops are also close by. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. Helpful owner - This is very kitchish, like staying at your grandma's place. Each of the 14 rooms is appointed differently. So a fun place to stay. Plus the staff is always very, very helpful. The breakfast is hot and cold and cooked right there, it changes every day too. And of course, you are a two minute walk from the museum and Hofburg area.

English widely spoken. - Room was totally fine, big enough and shared bathroom access was not a problem for the 4 nights I was there. An exceptionally good price made any minor bother ok. Excellent neighborhood to explore and close enough to the 1st district to walk. Try the City Bike bike sharing located a few blocks away at the Rathaus. Only 1 euro then unlimited 1 hour trips!

  Everything was to my liking, even the transparent shower, which I know some people find a bit odd but you are forewarned if you do your research. Loved the location which was within walking distance of a great many must see places and shopping opportunities if that's your thing. Very close to public transport too. Wait staff in the Brasserie were... what people say » very keen to meet all needs if possible. Was very pleased with my choice of hotel in Vienna. - The hotel was well located. It was easy to walk to the main attractions or to access the underground. The coffee machine in the deluxe room was wonderful anf worth spending that little bit extra. My flight only departed at 7:45pm and I was happy to be able to use their wellness facilities to shower and freshen-up and get into a clean set of clothing before boarding an intercontinental flight!

  The location can't be beat. You can walk most places and there is a u bahn station very close to the hotel. Tina made us feel we were in her home. We has use of a small refrigerator and she lent us bowls and spoons. There was a table and four chairs and a couch as well as beds in the room. It was very large.   First of all I should mention that this hotel is one of the best hotels I staid till the moment and I am always trying to choose 4* hotels. I can say more, it is easily in top 5 of my rating. The Museum of Art History is of the world importance, Hofburg, Stephandom and Museum Quarter- 10 min., Karskirhe (concerts, in august the theaters on holidays), Secession, Akademy of fine Arts Gallery - 3 min. Theater an der Wiene and Opera are quite near. The Hotel offers excellent breakfasts, koffee and tea in the room (our was 503) - free, concerts on Sundays with shampaigne
