  good and warm welcome food was excellent and room . you get what it says on the lable take no notice of nagative reviews it wasent anythink like they said t realy enjoyed my stay and i would stay there again - The rooms were excellent and the location was just right.   It was a lovely, old farmhouse/manor house with real character. The grounds were lovely, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfasts were enjoyable. It was out of Yeoville in its own grounds, making it a quiet retreat on a working farm-estate. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historic property and found it to be very welcoming.   Very quiet. Slept well. I stayed before in Bath city centre hotels and the noise from the street made it hard to sleep full nights. But it was great at the university of Bath. It is a bit out of the city, but then again, it is quiet. Breakfast was also good and while the uni is out of town the bus runs every ten or twenty minutes from around 7.30 to midnight so getting around wasn't a problem. For the price it's a bargain.

  Lovely atmosphere, tables were spaced well apart in the restaurant so you didnt feel overlooked. Great food and varied menu and lovely comfortable rooms. The staff made you feel at home and couldnt do enough to help. - Friendly staff and Breakfast cooked to your satisfaction.

  Easy check in, very friendly and helpful receptionist. only stayed one night and arrived a little late due to getting lost in Bristol city centre. Receptionist arranged for the hotel bus to pick us up from hotel and take us to, bungalow restaurant, who she rang to say we were on our way to eat. The room was clean and comfortabl - Decided at the last minute to stay at the Forge before early morning flight. Staff very friendly and efficient, accommodation small but very comfortable, as well as tea and coffee also included cereals in room for breakfast and mini fridge with milk! Taken by mini bus to their own pub free of charge and collected, all staff extremely cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend it. Could not be nearer to Bristol airport.

  Everyone was so helpful. We didn't have nearly the problems weanticipated because the staff was so great. Thanks. - The staff were absolutely magic, very kind and helpful. This is so important when you are disabled.

  Excellent location for stop over encounters to Cornwall from our home in Berkshire. The very helpful receptionist could not have been more pleasant. Gave us local knowledge of places to eat nearby rather than motorway services. We found a nice pub restuarant called The Worlds End. There looked to be great views over the mendips, but we couldn't really get the full benefit due to pouring rain!
