Rachel had sent directions and so we had no problem locating the B&B. We had a suite, with the biggest bed that I have ever slept in. It was lovely to also have a large and comfortable seating area so we could relax in the evening.
Rachel suggested a local pub for dinner, and we enjoyed a fabulous meal there.

Real good value for money, the place is beautiful... After missing a
flight from Bristol, we quickly booked this online and arrived 10 mins
later, we were so pleased with our room that we forgot about missing our
holiday!! The 2 cold beers on arrival really helped to calm the nerves
after an otherwise pretty stressful day... Would definitely recommend :)

The hotel is situated right in the middle of one of the most iconic Georgian buildings in the UK. The decor of the hotel is certainly in keeping with the grandeur of its location and the spa and restaurant were faultless.
The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The whole atmosphere and surroundings were great. Really enjoyed it. It was easy to get to with good links to the City, we actually walked in to Bath but it was a nice day and not in a rush. Hotel room and hotel in general very clean. Breakfast was good but a bit
overpriced at £12. Car parking on site adequate. Room was cold on
arrival and told heating was off, but electric heater delivered to room
promptly and problem solved.

We have stayed before and the standards have varied but we were very comfortable. Warn against over zealous staff. Relaxed and laid back atmosphere was great, could float around in our spa gowns and slippers. Lovely room, breakfast was amazing. Some spa hotels have a strict check in at 3pm and leave by 11am, Charlton House were happy to let us use the spa for as long as we liked both on day of arrival and departure. We liked the 'shabby chic' feel of the place. Even though the
Mulberry fabrics and furnishings were a bit 'tired' in certain
places - it did not seem to matter too much as it added to the charm of
the place. Important details such as good quality linen/
bedding/ towels/cutlery etc did not disappoint.

Had a fantastic relaxed weekend at Bath Lodge Castle. Beautiful surroundings, the staff were lovely and welcoming and made you feel at home. The food was excellent from the breakfast to the evening menu, which was all beautifully presented and tasted even better! Spent cosy evenings in front of a lovely roaring log fire, I felt really chilled after and recharged after my stay. I would definitely recommend Bath lodge Castle and will be visiting it again hopefully in the near future.

First impressions were lovely. Clean airy welcoming appartment. Easy access to the centre of Wells. Free parking in the Hotel. Would definately stay again and next time bring the children as it suited us to come and go as we please without being tied to hotel meal times. - Excellent location, quiet, comfortable, well equipped, nice decor

We stayed At Holbrook house from 5th of may to the 7th on a bank holiday weekend Holbrook was charming and quite beautiful we stayed in kingsbury which has a great view of the back garden. The decor was a little tired in the bedroom but the bathroom was brand new and the bed was really comfortable! we really enjoyed our stay at Holbrook House and would definitely stay there again.
