  The staff were all very nice and friendly. The hotel is very close to the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, which is why we chose it. My wife is an outpatient at this hospital, and disabled. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.   The hotel and its fascilities were second to none. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and was full of charachter. The food was amazing with a great dining room service. Montys spa was great, clean and we had a couple of treatments which were again very good.   The staff were very friendly. While it is not a family hotel they were very accommodating to our 20 month year old. They offered a baby listening service by us leaving our baby monitor with reception while we had dinner. The room was beautiful with amazing views and a fabulous bathroom. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The spa and teatments available were very welcome and relaxing. My room was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

  Relaxed and laid back atmosphere was great, could float around in our spa gowns and slippers. Lovely room, breakfast was amazing. Some spa hotels have a strict check in at 3pm and leave by 11am, Charlton House were happy to let us use the spa for as long as we liked both on day of arrival and departure. Important details such as good quality linen/ bedding/ towels/cutlery etc did not disappoint.

  We loved everything about the grounds of the Castle. Wonderful woodland set back behind the outdoor seating area. We loved that we could spend the day in the glorious City of Bath and then relax in a sumptuous room in a Castle! Spent cosy evenings in front of a lovely roaring log fire, I felt really chilled after and recharged after my stay. I would definitely recommend Bath lodge Castle and will be visiting it again hopefully in the near future.

  The staff at this hotel were fantastically polite, helpful and attentive - there was initially a problem with our room, and we were immediately upgraded by the superb reception manager into a suite that had access to a butler. The spa is excellent, the room comfortable.... From the moment we arrived, service was impeccable, the room was lovely (modern, clean and large) and our stay was delightful. We came for a relaxing time and we sure had one.
