We spent 1 night at Farndon Thatch and it is a fantastic B&B.We have stayed in many B&B's, but this is absolutely one of the best. Lovely comfortable bedroom (medievil room), exceptionally clean, lovely decor and well thought out. This beautiful farmhouse is in a quiet village, surrounded by nature.
The owners Louise and David couldn't be friendlier; we sat with
David for a chat over tea and Louise's home-made cake when we
arrived and David booked us into a local restaurant for the evening

We liked everything about Frog Street Farmhouse. The welcome was warm, tea/coffee on arrival with delicious lemon drizzle cake. Our room was beautiful, full of character but understated, stylish decor, spotlessly clean with good tea/coffee facilities. The bed was exceptional.
We would recommend Frog Street to anyone, but you do need a car to get to a restaurant for dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile...!!! Hope to visit again.....

Great hosts. Felt homely but not like you were in someone else's home. Bedding, pictures, lampshades etc. brought a modern touch to this 3 storey town house. Sea view from our bedroom. Within only a few metres of shops, restaurants and the beach. Couldn't have wished for more. Breakfast wonderful: selection of hot food made to order, same with the free flowing tea & coffee, cereals, fruit & toast. Attentive but not invasive hosts. The room was fitted out really well and to a high standard, e.g. a memory foam mattress and a really solid, classy bathroom with a super shower that pleased the American boyfriend who's always amazed at our piddly English offerings...in this case he got 2 shower heads at full force! A wonderful home away from home. A very neat place, Jamie and Catherine
are the most friendly hosts I have ever met. Offered me a lift into
town, my room was beautiful with a beautiful view of the city of Bath
from the verandah. My breakfast was cooked to my needs. I will
definitely stay here again and again. Oh I forgot to mention the Spa
session in a 5 star hotel I got as a gift for staying 2 nights. I also
got 25% discount on my spa treatment just because Catherine is a member.

Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable. Enjoyed using the DVD selection and being able to park on the hotel forecourt. - Good location, very clean, high quality furnishings, ensuite was excellent, thick fluffy towels and toiletries included. Carol and her staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble for them.

Rachel had sent directions and so we had no problem locating the B&B. We had a suite, with the biggest bed that I have ever slept in. It was lovely to also have a large and comfortable seating area so we could relax in the evening.
Rachel suggested a local pub for dinner, and we enjoyed a fabulous meal there.

Real good value for money, the place is beautiful... After missing a
flight from Bristol, we quickly booked this online and arrived 10 mins
later, we were so pleased with our room that we forgot about missing our
holiday!! The 2 cold beers on arrival really helped to calm the nerves
after an otherwise pretty stressful day... Would definitely recommend :)

The room was luxurious, the views glorious, the breakfast was easily the best hotel breakfast we have ever had, and most importantly the staff were incredibly warm and friendly.
