We spent 1 night at Farndon Thatch and it is a fantastic B&B.We have stayed in many B&B's, but this is absolutely one of the best. Lovely comfortable bedroom (medievil room), exceptionally clean, lovely decor and well thought out. Wendy and Ashley couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Wendy's knowledge on the local area was a great help. I have a gluten free diet and I was spoilt with a selection of gluten free goodies and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely, absolutely spotless and smelled fresh and lovely. Ashley's breakfasts were delicious and all produce was locally sourced which was wonderful. We had a lovely stay.

We've stayed at a number of five star hotels yet not experienced the high level of consideration, thoughtfulness and kindness as shown at this B&B. The refreshments and snacks provided in the room and on trays brought to our room were far superior to the norm. Sue's homemade cakes are gorgeous and breakfast was lovely too. Ample quality toilet

Such a wonderful flying visit at Hunters Cottage! Both Pete and Sue welcomed us with outstanding hospitality - offering refreshments and scrumptious, freshly baked goods on arrival (even though we were hours ahead of schedule)! These were devoured whilst overlooking the idyllic landscape and thriving wildlife pond, which as a naturalist and keen gardener, was very exciting and heartening to see! We loved everything about Old Parsonage House. We had the family suite which was perfect. Our hosts could not have been nicer (even gracious when we went out for the evening and took the wrong key!) Breakfast was superb. The village is beautiful but only a short distance from the City of Bath.

Max and Andrew are the nicest, friendliest hosts you could ever wish for. We spent two wonderful days at their paradise, breathtaking walks starting at the doorstep, coming back at half 4 to find tea and scones waiting... Lovely dining in the evening....Will definitely return and recommend EVERYONE to spend some time here to get away from it all!

We liked everything about Frog Street Farmhouse. The welcome was warm, tea/coffee on arrival with delicious lemon drizzle cake. Our room was beautiful, full of character but understated, stylish decor, spotlessly clean with good tea/coffee facilities. The bed was exceptional.
We would recommend Frog Street to anyone, but you do need a car to get to a restaurant for dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile...!!! Hope to visit again.....

What a wonderfu and beautiful place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were met with a friendly and wonderful smile thanks Claiire and Ray. You made your home our home the bed was just so comfortable and the pillows you could just snuggle into ' the beautiful home made biscuits and shortbread was just yummy and then there was the delicious breakfast in the morning could not be faulted in anyway and Ray makes a darn good waiter. Beautiful decor all brand new .large bed of excellent quality cotton bed linen .Bathroom facilities were superb and also plenty of large white fluffy towels .High standard all round. Breakfast cooked to perfection and plenty of it .Owners were most helpful and charming.Nothing too much trouble.
