  Everything. Functional design, very clean, no motel smell, little touches like chocolates and individual soaps for each, wi fi internet and FoxTel, etc. One of the best motels we have stayed at. Spacious bedrooms with 3 single beds for the kids - no need to worry about bunks! Very clean & well equipped for cooking etc.. It's so nice to finally find decent sized coffee mugs supplied too (the little things are important!). Helpful, friendly staff - a great family stay! Oh.. And free wi-if that actually worked!! ;)

  Staff (owner) was amazing. There was a smell in iur room, we went down to tell her, immediately we were moved. She apologised that the new apartment wasn't as good (actually it was better) she was friendly and welcoming. She gave great advice if where to eat in town.   Good Size room Basic but comfortable Pricing was OK Allowed to check in early so we could then head out for a day at Soveriegn Hill refreshed . - Close to the city and main attractions. Plenty of space in the room and the beds were really comfortable.

  The owners were very helpful and friendly. Although the motel was quite old it was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Apart from the usual jug and tea and coffee making, there was a toaster and microwave which was useful. The bathroom although very small had huge bath sheets and the shower had plenty of hot water. A very generous s - I was hesitant to use this Motel as some reviews were bad but decided to judge for myself. I found it to be good value for money. I wasn't expecting 5 star but I did expect it to be clean and comfortable which it was. When I checked in the lady was friendly. I'm happy with what I got for the money spent.

  Being temporarily disabled I was more than pleased to see hand rails in the shower. I feel there should be at least one in EVERY shower every where. The Alfred has been our favored place to stay for many years and never fails to disappoint except for once when there were no vacancies and that was our fault.
