Everything. Functional design, very clean, no motel smell, little touches like chocolates and individual soaps for each, wi fi internet and FoxTel, etc. One of the best motels we have stayed at. The little luxuries don't cost much, but make all the difference.The next cabin we stayed at for same price had old, worn and dirty and broken things and a tiny TV screen, advice to turn the lights off to save energy, and a warning that if we didn't leave it clean and tidy there would be a cleaning fee .

Spacious bedrooms with 3 single beds for the kids - no need to worry about bunks! Very clean & well equipped for cooking etc.. It's so nice to finally find decent sized coffee mugs supplied too (the little things are important!). Helpful, friendly staff - a great family stay! Oh.. And free wi-if that actually worked!! ;). We were really impressed with the friendly & helpful staff. We liked how close it was to the bowling club; to walk across the road for a meal was a bonus. The spacious, clean & modern family room was excellent. We also enjoyed the freshly baked muffins. The next time we come to Ballarat we'll definitely be staying at Begonia City Motor Inn and we'll be telling our friends too!. Begonia City Motor Inn is a really nice place and it's definitely value for money. We're truly satisfied with excellent front desk and a room, we had a chance to spend a night in. It was comfortable, spacious, very nice designed. I wish there's much more places like this to stay in. Highly recommended !. I was travelling with my elderly parents and the couple who run this establishment were so friendly and accommodating. There was no problem when we decided to stay another night and when crockery was requested, they were thoughtful enough to include cutlery. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The bed was comfortable and made up with quality linen. Ample supply of towels, face washers & bathmat. Location ideal for function we were attending at the Sebastapol Bowls Club - 200 metres over the road. Local knowledge by hosts invaluable. Really friendly staff. Complimentary homemade muffins upon arrival and advice given on local attractions were appreciated. It is not within walking distance of the centre of town, so wouldn't be recommended to someone without their own transport. Generously sized room, well equipped. Free loan of DVDs really welcome for our daughter. Home baked free muffins a lovely touch. We have stayed at several motels on our trip and this has been the best so far due to these homely touches. WE were met by the friendly owners of the motel. Our unit was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had a cooked breakfast delivered to our room and it was delicious. We would recommend this motel to travellers in the area. We used the in-room kitchen after shopping at the nearby supermarket. Room was clean and quiet. The motel provided free wi-fi. Bathroom was a little worn (however very clean, so didn't really bother us) Couch wasn't comfy. Absolutely nothing!. No problems in our two-night stay. Room and toilet was a bit too cold for us since the room heating was local. Lucky the electric blankets made wonder to the beds and we had a good night sleep. Some kitchen cookery are a little worn out. Using the wifi is a little inconvenient. Nothing. It was fabulous!. Nothing. The heater took a while to kick in. Would have been nice if there was an additional couch - with 4 people there was limited seating for relaxing, tv etc. Obviously, this is tricky with the small area available. This motel is not very central - it is a fair way out of Ballarat, but assuming you have a car, it's only about 5 minutes driving time to Sovereign Hill or into Ballarat. Nothing. We were in a car, so no problem for us - but those without a car would find that this is a long way from the city centre. Algae on bottom of pool Broken step into pool. Nothing. Nothing to complain about. No reason to dislike any thing about the Motel . nothing. We were totally satisfied with our stay so there was nothing we didn't like!. A bit distant from Ballarat town centre and Sovereign Hill. The bed is a bit soft for the bigger size person. wifi connections poor,difficult to find with sat nav, needs a laundry. a bit far from city centre of ballarat.
