We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

The apartment had everything necessary for our stay in Hobart. it was spacious and comfortable, in a good position for walking around the Harbour and Central city areas. The staff were very helpful and polite, Convenient guest lounge through the day supplied good coffee. Breakfast was nothing special, but there are many excellent small restaurants

A delightful city, Great Art Gallery's and Museums. Great food, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.
We booked an apartment at the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel because (a) it was very central to everything, (b) because we grew up on Vic. sheep properties in the 1940-60s and farmed sheep with Tasmanian bloodlines for wool ourselves and (c) because letsbookhotel.com offered great book-ahead specials.

The hot water in the shower was really hot and the pressure was good too. I could open the window to get some fresh air. I didn't realise the staff had openned it as the curtains were drawn. We only knew that it was cold and we needed extra blankets from the cupboard.

We arrived very late due to airline delays but the young man on reception was most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a compact/budget room that was far better than I expected (having read some negative reviews) and it really was great value for money. Didn't have a car so no need to worry about the carpark. We had no noise issues and had amazing views. Very clean, very comfy beds/pillows, great location as it was just a short walk to the CBD and Salamanca.

A standout for me was my interaction with staff members. Having flexibility on a business trip is critical and they went out of their way to accommodate my requests and ensure everything was set up and ready to go. I also enjoyed the conference rooms and the set up there - very efficient service and a great training venue. -

The staff member at Quest Savoy was fantastic and couldn't do more for us as we didn't get the room we booked so she upgraded us to another room at their Trinity House. I will definately be staying with Quest again and telling all my friends as well. Extremely happy. -

Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue
- the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location

Quest waterfront is right in the heart of the wharf district of Hobart.
It is a short walk to the seafood restaurants and Salamanca markets. We
checked in at about 8.15pm, and were sitting down to a seafood dinner by

Reception prompt and because room not ready we were given a card so that we could use the car park. Room very clean and nicely furnished ,beautiful fluffy towels changed daily. The restaurant staff very friendly and chatty. Hotel so close everything (shops etc). we would certainly stay there again. -

Staff are excellent I stay here often and each time the service is
amazing. I tried to stay at another hotel close by as the hgc was very
expensive during peak season, it was an absolute disaster. I will only
ever stay at the chancellor when I visit Hobart.

The view and position right on the river. Our room had a window overlooking the river and it was such a beautiful view, and a lift for the luggage carting. The room was very comfortable, with a toaster, microwave,crockery and cutlery for breakfast; a great idea. Bring your own cereal, fruit and a loaf of bread with some butter and you have a healthy breakfast, with the local papers available, one can relax and gaze over the activity on the river while eating breakfast.
