  Of all the cheap hotels in Sarasota, this one was definitely the nicest to look at and the cleanest. It's just close enough to downtown Sarasota and all the attractions that you can drive there in 5 minutes but you're far enough away that you don't feel like you're in the city.   We liked the friendliness of the staff. Very accommodating and provided assistance as needed. It was a central location enabling us to see Sarasota, Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria, Fort de Soto, Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Johns Pass. Close to stores. Comfortable beds. Parking lot was clean and newly sprayed blacktop, sidewalks along the room entrance - Unbelievable value for the money. I was with my mom and the second we walked into the room we felt at home and were very impressed. There were 2 large rooms. One with a full kitchen, pots, pan, etc and a sofa, table with 2 parson chairs and tv. The bedroom had 2 double beds with pillowtop mattresses and a flat screen tv. The bathroom was nice and clean. Nice pool. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay at again and next time would stay for a longer visit. Best value anywhere.

  central location..inexpensive and, while not luxurious, perfectly adequate as a place to sleep after a day out...publix supermarket across the road was a convenient place to buy food etc - Bigger room than I expected. Great location. Walking distance to anything downtown. Very friendly staff. Decent pool. Great price.

  After driving for 13 hours we were tired, but after checking in with Rufus, who was so pleasant and friendly, we put our luggage in our room and explored Siesta Keys. We are beach people and have been to many beaches, but we have fallen in love with Siesta Key. We are already planning on coming back. Hibiscus Suites was great.
