Beautifully appointed & comfortable suite overlooking Cowell's Beach and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Great facility, staff, value and to top it off perfect weather (December for heaven's sake) and Steamer's Lane down the street was breaking big. Amazing location, about two blocks from beach. Great place to stay with
dogs. Small room but well thought out with large walk in closet which
means you can stash your luggage out of the way. Cool double shower
heads in slightly larger shower. The only thing odd is all the rooms I

Super friendly and caring staff. They found a way to provide me with a room with a view! I felt welcome and valued as a customer.
The motel is located in a perfect spot within walking distance to a 2.5 seaside path, the boardwalk amusement park,and downtown restaurants and shops.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, a very nice place to stay.

We were planning a last minute (anniversary) trip up north for a concert
we were attending in Mountain View. Our choice to stay in Santa Cruz was
because of the boardwalk and it would be a new place to explore for us.
Fireside Inn was within our budget, right next to the boardwalk (walking

Everything basically. The hotel has gone over some major construction
and is under new management so all the old reviews don't apply. We
were expecting a really dirty and shody room so we brought our own
sheets and blankets but we didn't need them because the room was
so pristine! The sheets were so white and smelled good and the room
was so clean! The staff is super friendly and funny and so helpful!!

Cottage was cozy, although a bit small for our liking for the 4 of us. Location was right next to the beach, and easily accessible to town and the boardwalk. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was attractive and appealing. Everything was clean and tidy.

We had a wanderful 3 days trip in this hotel. This hotel is just a short drive from Santa Cruz and about an 1 drive from San Francisco. The room was very clean and the bed was very confortable. The rooms and the staff were most attentive to our needs. The desk staff friendly and helpful. We had an excellent waiter for dinner who understood our needs and time constraints; he also arranged a cab for us. The bed was comfortable and got a good nights sleep.

I love the location its the closest to the beach broadwalk. The room was very clean and quiet. It was a great deal. You can walk to the beach come back take a shower and come back to the broadwalk. Everything! We stayed in a jacuzzi room and it was just perfect. I love that there is a separate living room/kitchen and bdrm and the fact that the bath is huge with a large shower and separate jacuzzi.
The room was clean, inviting, spacious, and functional and talk about location location location! The boardwalk was just blocks away.

4 times. All boards fit in the room with ease. -
Owners were very accommodating and pleasant. The young lady who
registered was excellent and very friendly. I'm hoping to be able to
go there again and not to expensive. For a senior being able to walk to
the boardwalk and pier and not get lost was all worth it.
