the hotel staff were excellent professional friendly and helpful. The suite was very clean and everything worked. There are no dishes or anything in the kitchen but the hotel lent us a box with pans, bowls cups and plates. The pool was very clean and fun although a bit cold for us grownups.

This motel was absolutely immaculate! If you want quiet, be sure to get a room toward or at the back, which will put you a couple of hundred feet from the busy street it's on. Nice king size bed, micro, fridge. Nice little pool, too. Stay here if you want a super-clean, super-bargain! This will definitely be the place whenever I'm in the area.

The location was great. Close to beach and downtown. Parking was limited but fine - we had no issues. The rooms were clean and what we needed -- a bed and shower and tv. Room was very small but clean is more important to me. Small continental breakfast in the office was just what we needed before setting off for the day. -

Beautifully appointed & comfortable suite overlooking Cowell's Beach and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Great facility, staff, value and to top it off perfect weather (December for heaven's sake) and Steamer's Lane down the street was breaking big. The manager if this place was amazing! He was so nice and worked really hard to meet our needs. He even opened up his lobby 2 hours earlier than usual so that my parents could get coffee before my marathon run! Jay the front desk guy was extremely helpful and always available to
answer our questions and to attend to our needs. Great value for the
money and about a block away from the beach. My girlfriend forgot her
promise ring there and they were willing to mail it back! The room was
perfect for our family of six and the kids loved it. We will definitely
be staying there again soon.

handicapped grab bars which helped my husband tremendously. Also, the
staff treated us kindly. Plus, the room was very clean and larger than

Super friendly and caring staff. They found a way to provide me with a room with a view! I felt welcome and valued as a customer.
The motel is located in a perfect spot within walking distance to a 2.5 seaside path, the boardwalk amusement park,and downtown restaurants and shops.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, a very nice place to stay.

We had a wonderful experience at Edgewater. I was traveling alone with my 3 children and the staff made us feel very at home. We were planning a last minute (anniversary) trip up north for a concert
we were attending in Mountain View. Our choice to stay in Santa Cruz was

Everything basically. The hotel has gone over some major construction
and is under new management so all the old reviews don't apply. We
were expecting a really dirty and shody room so we brought our own
sheets and blankets but we didn't need them because the room was
so pristine! The sheets were so white and smelled good and the room
was so clean! The staff is super friendly and funny and so helpful!!

Cottage was cozy, although a bit small for our liking for the 4 of us. Location was right next to the beach, and easily accessible to town and the boardwalk. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was attractive and appealing. Everything was clean and tidy.

Absolutely fantastic location just steps from the beach and at the entrance to the pier.. A very short walk to the Boardwalk and a wonderful cafe for breakfast just down the street.. They have a nice fire pit to sit around and relax on a chilly evening and S'more kits can be purchased to make campfire deserts for the kids! It also has a nice heated pool after a day at the beach.
