  Our host Kenny was really warm and welcoming ever since we set foot into his inn. When we first checked in, he was very kind to ask us if it was our first time visiting Mt. Rainier. He then went and took his time to point out where he will recommend us to go and where to park our cars as well as the time it will take to reach each location. We had mixed reports on the Inn so we were a bit apprehensive. Forget any negative comments this proved to be great accommodation. Your genuine log cottage with lots of atmosphere including the compulsory log fire. Restaurant and convenience store on the doorstep and walking distance to the NP entrance. A great addition to a spectacular NP.

  We like quirky, so the Inn was right up our alley. I had seen many ads for this hotel before, but never booked it. I recommended it to two Aussie visitors in the summer, and they gave it glowing reviews, so we gave it a try. It was all we could hope for: friendly, fun and quirky (the old icebox in the wall, the closet the size of another room, an... ce que les gens disent » d the plugs that weren't modern enough to hold our chargers easily). Best price for the downtown core, and they dealt with our unpleasant discovery as - Clean, tasteful, comfortable, affordable, quiet, and extremely convenient to the hospital, where my husband was having tests. The blackout curtains were much appreciated. Very pleasant place to stay in the heart of the city.

  The view and position of the hotel was stunning. The a la carte meal we had on the first night was excellent. We were given advice on local hikes, some of which did not need a car for access. - Gorgeous serene setting. Very peaceful. Beautiful room with lake view. Great access to trails for hiking. A true getaway.

  The Shelburne Inn was a total surprise to us. We found it on the internet, there was a vacancy on the night we needed and we took it. Little did we know it was a charming, friendly place with great food and drink! What a lucky find for us! - Beautiful furniture. Fabulous breakfast included.

  Stayed at Cedar Springs Cabin which is separate from others in the complex. Gorgeous old cabin with heaps of character. Comfortable beds. Very spacious and adequate cooking facilities. Totally away from it all with no TV signal, phone or wifi. Was able to get wifi at Inn down the road. Fantastic hot tub outside, spent many hours in it. Lovely lake... ce que les gens disent » and surroundings. Trout to catch in lake. Great location for Mount Ranier National Park. Spent all our time there. Just wonderful wild flowers in Aug - This was the first time I've rented a room where there was no staff at check in. But the instructions in the email made this very easy. We loved the location and would recommend it to others. The restaurant was wonderful and the blackberry pie..heaven:-)
