  Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other places we checked out. Close to decent restaurants which were less touristy because the hotel is away from the main areas. - Room was clean and had partial view out to the water. Price was reasonable. Location was within easy walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Kitchenette was also very handy allowing a night at home cooking.

  Location great, and the restaurants and shops on the ground floor were a plus - the Creme Pot is charming and convenient for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to be accommodating. Great view of the city from upper floors. - The staff is Excellent! : ) I keep coming. : )

  I was very pleased with this motel. The rooms were clean [very important], we had a corner room that had 2 ac units, and the there were multiple electrical outlets for charging our various electronic devices. Nice view of the Hawaiian mountains. The wifi was also very acceptable. We walked to the hotel from the airport [only about a 25 minute walk... ce que les gens disent » ]. I loved the three-way mirror in the bathroom - helps when drying hair. Kindly staff and simple kitchenettes make this an easy place to stay.   The staff, from the front desk to house cleaning, everyone was super friendly and nice to me. Lave, Kamaki and Sheryl at the front treated me like a brother! Everyone went out of their way to help with anything I needed or any questions I asked. I had had lots of people tell me there was no pool and I told them I didn't care.   By far the most economical choice for lodging in Honolulu, made even better by the fact that Marie actually gave us our last of four nights free (albeit in a smaller room) after a mixup on the number of nights we'd be staying.   La proximité - I appreciated coffeemaking facilities and microwave, esp. when arriving late at night. Breakfast by the pool was a 'bonus' and saved any concerns re purchasing items for breakfast.
