The location was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming with the exception of first arrival, the valet's didn't seem too thrilled or overly enthusiastic as we weren't sure exactly what to do. The hotel was beautiful and spacious as were the rooms.

We loved the beautiful location, so close to Tanglewood and other destinations. From the moment you arrive, you feel a great calm at the Cranwell. This is an ideal place to relax and un-wind. The room was superb as well as the breakfast menu. We plan to return here for a stay. -

Situation pratique sur Harvard Square - The Charles is extremely convenient, provides a very pleasant environment, good services, particularly the use of computers. For the first time I have experienced that the room was just as nice and big as the pictures on the booking page showed. The staff was excellent from beginning to the end of our stay. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean! Bed very comfortable. I asked the cleaning person to leave me more coffee for the room and left some money for her to take. I had more coffee and she left the money! I did leave it when we left! Close to great shopping! Close to Fenway. Near excellent dining. The Bell Hops were very nice!

The rooms in the mansion were amazing... Clean, beautifully decorated,
and the most comfortable beds ever! Every staff person was amazing and
had a smile on their face, the food and service was top notch. We even
met the gm Matthew Moore who took the time out of is busy day to
congratulate us on our wedding the day before. We will go back every
year to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing time!

We liked the resort because it's very family-oriented, it's got indoor and outdoor pools for kids to play in and relaxing lounging areas for grownups. It also has a lot of activities planned out for all ages; it provides free parking, WiFi... The room was very spacious and clean. I has fridge, coffee maker and so on for family travel convenience.

The staff was just excellent helping me deal with my various idiot vacation crises. This is the most important thing. They were cool with a late checkout and didn't pester me about it.
No cash in my wallet to leave a tip in my room and I feel terrible for that.
Good cape-style chicken salad. And I'm picky. Love to find that on the road.
