It was all the little extras that Travaasa did that sold me! The sandalwood soap, the quality of shampoo and rinse, the soap dish and toothbrush holder. The staff were exemplary!Always going out of their way to insure we had the best care possible!

The place itself was absolutely amazing. It was very high end and well
done from the fixtures to the landscaping. The yoga was a great touch
and I loved the fact it didn't feel "Marriott" or
"Hilton" at all. It's next to Pa'ia which was a great
little hippie town with very affordable food. -

Loved the adult infinity pool and that our room was a few feet away. We had an awesome oceanfront room that was very close to the pool. The pool side staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Front desk was freindly and helpful. Maid service was good too. -

Service was excellent - very friendly, polite and attentive (and
continued this way after my stay when I left my sunglasses behind).
Location was great - very picturesque and away from the city centre
(though still accessible via the courtesy shuttle bus). -

Variety of pools suited all ages. Children of all ages were well catered for and hence adults were able to enjoy the location and amenities and relax, I especially loved my visits to the adults only pool. Our room was fantastic, the beds exceptionally comfortable. The beach was beautiful and I loved having breakfast in the Grand dining room. -

The staff at the hotel were so courteous and friendly, giving you that aloha spirit. The pool the kids loved so much. For me, it was home away from home. I was surprised to run into a few workers that are good friends that I knew for a long time. They were so gracious and asked if I needed anything. I would love to stay there again. -

Location is fabulous. No need for an upgrade, all views are great. Stayed in room 2116, spacious, clean, pleasant feel.
Wifi worked extremely well in the room. Breakfast is worth the money and the Friday crab buffet is to die for. Nice beach with great view. -

The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. As an appreciator of history and architecture; that was a good call. It's fun people watching and there is great Asian food in the area. -

It is a historical landmark. Conveniently located. outstanding beach and view.Great for shopping

The pool and location were amazing. We lounged around the pool almost every day and enjoyed the friendly service of the waitress that passed by. The hotel is right on the beach and a very short walk to Whaler's Village (a shopping mall). If that is not enough stores, Lahaina has more and the Westin provides a shuttle service that leaves every hour

This is Hawaii's Hawaiian Hotel. We had a room on the main floor, garden view, room 178 (smoking outside). It didn't face the large area of the garden, but it did have a small garden outside our room. We enjoyed it more because it was secluded. You could see the ocean through the trees.
