Perfect re-treat from city life and a great base from which to visit the Volcano National Park and Hilo areas. This was a great place to stay to visit Volcano National Park. Nice home with a beautiful garden--very comfortable. Had dinner at the Kilauea Lodge nearby--excellent! Thank you for sharing your home :)

We really liked being in the upcountry and the quiet of the location. It was close to our son who lives in Pukalani. The local restaurants were excellent and fairly reasonable price wise. The place was very clean and well equipped for cooking - beds comfortable- bathrooms updated. Heaters helped with dampness. Very nice and liked price for the wee

We exited the taxi and were welcomed to the Four Seasons with a lei, which we expected. A porter took us to the check-in desk at 11:00 A.M. where only one girl was working. The check-in girl snapped at the porter stating she was already serving someone. Dave came on the scene and checked us in and walked us to the elevator answering all our quest

The staff were very welcoming from when we first arrived. Throughout our stay we were recognized and equipt for with no trouble. All staff were brilliant at remembering our names which was very impressive. Everyone had their role to maximize the fine detail around the hotel, the design was beautiful and the lay out was very nice. Rooms were spacious and homely. I would definatly recommend this hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet. Our room was across from the lifts and we never heard them once. Bouquets to Travis for making me the best mai tai cocktails I've ever tasted. -

The small touches like water bottles and net beach bags when you check in. The lovely lounge where you can relax befpre or after you check in or out. The lunch poolside in its own bent box. Very clever touches in the room decor and excellent wifi. Great free shuttle service to restaurants. -

Excellent location and the suites were very nice. A spectacular
breakfast spread every morning which was delicious. Neither of the main
restaurants impressed me much and we actually ate at the Four Seasons
(Duo and Ferraro's) twice each. Also ate local food elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing. Everyone treated us like we were the only guests. The check in, bellboy introduction and resort services all made the fairmont an experience to remember. I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything around the grounds were immaculate. The rooms are huge,clean and very well appointed. It definitely felt like paradise. Restaurants were great. Service at Ko was exceptional. There were so many loungers and plenty of grounds and pool space that you never felt crowded anywhere.
