Lovely breakfast with lots of fruit. There was always someone of the (very friendly) staff around whom we could bother with our questions. For $10 we could rent an underwater camera to take on our snorkelling tour - we even got a great shot of a sea-turtle! Tanna, the host, is a lovely person. You can borrow whatever you want... (snorkling gear, DVDs, Picnic gear...)
You can use the house like it's your own. There is planty of soaps, shampoos, bathtowels for the beach, beach umbrella, beach chair for use...
If you need help for booking anything, just ask Tanna. She knows the island like a grown up.
And the most important is that you can sit in a hot tub after a long day out... just heaven

Everything was clean and cosy, and breakfast was definitely the best we
had in Hawaii!!! Take a close look at the address and a map before you

Nice residential neighborhood, nice property with great beaches nearby. Tom, the owner met me on arrival. He was very freindly and helpful.
Breakfasts were nice fruit, juice, bread and an egg dish each morning. Tom reviews what was done the day before and the plans and offers helpful ideas.

Stayed in the Deluxe Suite. Very large, comfortable room with an enormous bed and plenty of room to spread out. Included small kitchenette with small fridge, microwave and sink. Lenny is very nice, welcoming and helpful.

We stayed in the deluxe suit. Everything was perfect and we highly recommend this place. The place was super clean, cozy, designed with the best taste and equipped with all one needed. It’s located in a beautiful quiet garden and close to the volcano park. We stayed for one night only, but sincerely hope to return for a longer stay. The owner is a very nice person who pays attention to the small details.

Upon arriving, we parked in the spot labeled Pineapple. Toby was working in his "man cave" and came out to greet us immediately.
He showed us around the lower level facilities including the hoses to rinse off sand; the beach chairs, snorkel gear and coolers we could use for our stay (even sunscreen), and the outdoor shower and hot tub. They reall

Toby and Kirby are superb hosts! Since they've lived in the area for decades, they have an intimate knowledge of the north short of Kauai, and of its residents -- chatting with them was a bit like being an insider!
Toby's breakfasts are superb, and the home is beautiful, and supremely comfortable. The kitchen and living room were always open to guests and we took full advantage of it.
You could have as much privacy or be more social with guests and the hosts, as you preferred.

This is the real Hawaii! Our children visited on the lanai and cracked fresh macadamia nuts. In the morning we drank rich Kona coffee, from the local landscape and delighted in sharing adventures and insiders knowledge over a perfect breakfast. Easy location to beaches, restaraunts, and sunny Kona weather. Kurt's family home surpasses any destination hotel or resort. We longed for it after moving on to other parts of the island. 5 stars.,

Loved the Rain Forest outside our 3 glass sided walls and the privace, can hardly see another cabin. Staff placed nice selection of snacks, teas, etc in room.
Also, short 10-15 min drive to Volcano.
