  It was so quaint, convenient, clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for an anniversary. Traveled all the way from Oahu (Kailua) to finally see the last island we had never visited before. Walking distance to all the local eateries--we tried them all and ate in the hotel. So glad we did not stay in either of the resorts. Hotel Lanai was a trea... ce que les gens disent » sure for us. Do not miss the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream custom baked for you! Aloha, Janis and John, Kailua, hi - Enjoyed our stay but this place would not be good for everyone. No tv and being older historic building the walls were quite thin so this is probably not a good place for kids or party people. Nice continental breakfast (fresh fruit, cereal, juice & fresh baked pastries). There is also a mini fridge & a small ice chest which they will fill with ice. Did not eat dinner at the restaurant but it was quite crowded so I am assuming it is good.

  I thought the staff were great at making the trip memorable for us. They went out of their way to accomodate us with a tour and even provided amazing videos of our snorkelling. The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks!! - The manager and the staff are really nice and friendly, rooms and showers are clean. Everything was perfect.

  Maui is a beautiful small island and Kahului is conveniently located to explore the many sites it has to offer or get on exiting tours. The hotel has an excellent activity desk that helps book tours/shuttles and advises which sites to visit. The bus service from Kahului is good and cheap to visit the south side of the island for swimming or snor... ce que les gens disent » keling. The hotel room appeared to have been refurbished fairly recently. - Staff was very polite. Rooms were clean beds made bathrooms clean. Saturday night prime rib and crab buffet was excellent. Very affordable and the setting was very nice. Should I ever visit Maui again I will be sure to stay at Maui beach hotel.

  I was very pleased with this motel. The rooms were clean [very important], we had a corner room that had 2 ac units, and the there were multiple electrical outlets for charging our various electronic devices. Nice view of the Hawaiian mountains. The wifi was also very acceptable. We walked to the hotel from the airport [only about a 25 minute walk... ce que les gens disent » ].
