We did not book directly through Best Western so when we arrived, we
discovered our room did not have a balcony but a patio instead. Told the
management of our displeasure and they moved us to the 3rd floor the
next day. We appreciated the accomodation. Once moved, we were very
happy to have a private balcony. Room was very clean and the

We would definitely stay here again. Was so clean and comfortable, that it felt like home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for shopping, eating, and catching the ferry to Mackinack Island.

The location was amazing - just a few minutes walk to downtown, Mackinac Island Ferries, and Colonial Michilimackinac. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Very comfy bed! Breakfast was sufficient. Pool area was nice as well. -

Clarion has the best pillows ever and plenty of them. Each bed came with 4 pillows on them, plenty for people who like extra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. I felt very comfortable and clean. Overall, the Clarion is a great value for the money. -

Great recommendation of local restaurants, services, etc. Proximity to the ferries.
The actual beach was nice. The sand was clean and it was nice to have a fire pit.

We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. We liked it so much were going to go back again next year. -

The owners make you feel like family. We felt right at home. Everything is kept very clean and neat. Lake Michigan is right across the road with a beautiful view of the bridge. Location! Owners were nice, grounds are beautiful. Rooms are small but
clean and pool is very nice and I like that its a small place.
Breakfast is good, staff friendly and did I mention the location is
perfect? Shower drains well, a/c works great. There is laundromat 1
minute away.

I'd like the fact that all the staff was kind, and helpful. The rooms were very clean and organized. I will be coming back to stay in the future. My fiance and I thinking about coming to stay there for our honeymoon in the summer. -

We LOVED the indoor water play area! That was the most fun. The ferries to the island are right across the street so that is convenient. All of the restaurants are withing walking distance which helpful because we have three small children. -

The room we had was just beautiful! It was decorated in log cabin style and that is my favorite! The staff was so nice and very helpful. The breakfast was decent and everyone got enough to eat every morning. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family! -
