As soon as we arrived this hotel captured us. It's location was easy
to find from the airport (though the driving on the other side of the
road/car was a little taxing). The Standard sign placed upside down,
the fire heated outside seating area, the colouful indoor waiting area
with pool table, warm and welcoming staff with a hairdressers and shop

and docking station (the bed being the biggest ive seen, let alone slept

Everything was perfect. Excellent staff, special mention to Rodrigo, very helpful since the very beginning. The Rooftop is simply amazing, with a nice atmosphere and good music. We did not used the pool as it was always full, LOL. The location is also very good, with the 7th street Metro station 2 blocks away.

The photo's do not do this hotel justice! The essence of this hotel of rich history or sport, that dark, seductive feel to the rooms- it really was such a wonderful stay! private Club.
* Liked that you were able to use all the Clubs facilities at no extra charge (indoor swimming pool, gym, squash courts and basketball court)
* The breakfast (cooked) was included in the room rate
* Location was great to be able to use public transport (bus & subway) + only 20 min walk to Staples Center
