  Nice sized rooms, comfy beds, lots of parking, easy walking distance to shops/restaurant . Excellent continental breakfast, very helpful and pleasant staff. - We enjoyed our stay went with 6 couples to Cornish Christmas in Grass Valley. Everyone very pleased with your place we will come back again.

  I loved the Holbrooke Hotel for its great central location in old Grass Valley and for its rich lively California history. When I arrived on a Sunday evening there was a Celtic band playing near the saloon inside the hotel which was really cool...the historic elevator was still working so I took it to my room on the 2nd floor, which was room where... ce que les gens disent » the famous Lola Crabtree stayed in, and it was down the hall from the Presidential suites. The room had a beautiful clawfoot bath tub, a working flat - This is our 2nd visit to the Holbrooke Hotel. We came back because we enjoy the historical aspects of the hotel. If folks are looking for the Ritz-Carlton, this is not the place. Come for the olde time ambiance.
