I have stayed here several times, although the hotel is a little dated, I have always found it clean and convenient to where ever I needed to go. The bus stops at the motel, and there is a bar and grill next door. Personally I like the rooms on the ground floor facing the trees. -

After we went to our room, he called letting me know he had already taken money off my card as he had looked it up and he price was supposed to be cheaper. We so enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Inn. The location is perfect and
close to downtown and historic loop, very easy access and felt very safe
and quiet. Our room was very comfortable, extremely clean, towels
freshened daily and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The

The Colonial Inn was perhaps one of the cleanest motel rooms I've seen in a long time. The staff/owners were helpful, friendly, and very nice people. The beds were comfortable; and the room was very quiet (especially for a town known for loud motorcycles). The price point was perfect for anyone on a budget. I would stay there again!

We visited many places but one of our favorites is Turpentine Creek Wild Life Refuge which is a Big Cat Refuge. Gentry has a drive thru safari as well as a petting Zoo - Great Place to entertain children as well as adults.
