  The innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and they gave us names of good places to eat and visit plus allowing us to check in one hour early. Our room was very spacious with a rustic feel and very clean. The grounds were well maintained with beautiful flowers and hanging baskets. In the office there were movies to check out as each room had a DVD p - We thoroughly enjoyed the European flavor as reflected in the structural design of this hotel and the operational style which made us really fell like at home. We have become friends with the owner and will always stay at this hotel when the next time we visit Eureka Springs.

  I have stayed here several times, although the hotel is a little dated, I have always found it clean and convenient to where ever I needed to go. The bus stops at the motel, and there is a bar and grill next door. It was pouring rain and Dave took us to the trolley station so we did not have to wait in rain and he offered to take us downtown and even pick us up when we needed. Excellent location right off the main shopping/restaurant/bar strip within walking distance if not as lazy or rainy as our trip was.   We so enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Inn. The location is perfect and close to downtown and historic loop, very easy access and felt very safe and quiet. Our room was very comfortable, extremely clean, towels freshened daily and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The Colonial was simply perfect for our 3 night stay and very affordable. Rooms were kept very clean and was in a good location. We visited many places but one of our favorites is Turpentine Creek Wild Life Refuge which is a Big Cat Refuge. Gentry has a drive thru safari as well as a petting Zoo - Great Place to entertain children as well as adults.
