  It's a beautifully restored historic Victorian home, very well appointed, super comfortable, with a cordial host (when we were there), excellent lighting (important), beautiful bathroom, lovely antiques and a beautiful garden. It is necessary to plan ahead as this place is very busy.

  Location was useful for us for where we were based. Staff were fantastic. The doorman/driver Jamie was a really nice fella and helped us out a lot. Melanie at the checkout was super helpful also. The pool is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so it was unavailable for our stay, but it is a large pool with a small separate area for young children.   Close proximity to city-center Eugene, which is walking distance to the Market District, College Hill, and Whiteaker Districts (westside). While it is on a busy street, the room is built old school solid, well insulated, and so the traffic is not a concern. Modern wall heater keeps the place toasty during those rainy Oregon days. Refrigerator, microwave, couch, extra pillows, iron/board, hair dryer, and (minimal) continental breakfast. All this for $51, sweet!
