We were incredibly impressed with the attention given to what really
makes someone comfortable away from home. The heated floor in the bath,
the jacuzzi tub, the pillow choices, wonderful linens, incredibly
comfortable patio furniture on our balcony, etc. Unless something
changes, Tally Ho will always be our first choice in Carmel by the Sea. -

We loved the welcome we received. We were made to feel at home right from the start.
Tracy poured us both a huge glass of wine and that set the scene for a wonderful stay.
Everything was spotless.
The breakfasts were good and the staff really friendly and helpful.
We especially loved the family atmosphere of the place.

Amazing value for the money. The staff was excellent - friendly and
helpful. Complimentary cheese and wine to start your evening, and a
simple, tasty breakfast in the morning. We stayed in Room 4 (one of the
smallest rooms on the upper floor with the slanted ceiling) and it was
more than enough room for two people. Very clean and the bed was
comfortable. I looked at a lot of B&Bs in Carmel and this was more
affordable than most. Also, it's only two blocks from the beach and

We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. Room was very nice and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. So nice to be close to all downtown shopping and especially liked the grocery story so close. Quite and very lovely place to stay. -

We were given a complimentary upgrade due to it being our anniversary. ONLY because the clerk asked us if there was a special reason. Very friendly and personable clerk! Really helpful receptionist answered all my questions when I arrived late at night. He gave me a lovely room. Very clean and modern but also cosy. Nice continental breakfast too. Overall, it was a nice experience. Room was comfortable and pretty. Back deck/fire pit area was nice for drinking wine and eating dinner. Tom at the front desk did his best to make our stay a first class experience. Great location, 15 min walk from beach and outside of main tourist area, made up for little inconveniences.

Perfect location close to the beach and the shops & restaurants around Ocean Ave.; cute B & B with several cottages and several nice places to sit outside.
Some rooms have a fireplace, during our stay of 9 nights we lived in 3 different rooms, all rooms are lovely decorated.
Delicious complimentary breakfast and afternoon refreshments.

The inn keeper Greta is a sweetheart. She was attentive, friendly and personable.
The inn's distance from the main Ocean Ave traffic made it very quiet, yet it was close enough to all major attractions.
Excellent afternoon snacks and good breakfast.
Nice furnishing.

It was placed well in Carmel. Close to everything. The room was amazing.
The staff did everything to make you feel welcome. When we checked out I
left my charger in the room and they called me to let me know they had
it. I found that it is pet freindly and the breakfast delivered to the
room in the morning was a nice touch. I loved this place and will stay
here again when we visit Carmel again.

The service was excellent. We were there on our honeymoon trip. The staff was very nice and kind and they took care of making our stay memorable. We found a bottle of champagne and chocolate in the room when we arrived which we greatly appreciated. The position of the hotel is excellent. It is very close to the main street and the beach. -
