Beautiful onsite swimming pool and gym. Grounds are beautiful, staff was very friendly and accomodating.

  We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. Room was very nice and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. So nice to be close to all downtown shopping and especially liked the grocery story so close. Big and comfortable room, kitchen and bathroom with one queen bed and one single bed (I stayed in the room 30 with my 15 y.o. son, local student who spent a long parents week-end with me), very friendly staff, nice view and ambience.And I didn't have any problems with wifi internet - it was r... ce que les gens disent » eally high-speed which was absolutely essential for me. - We loved the spaciousness of our room - we had a lovely little dining room and a kitchenette. The luggage storage area was fantastic, especially since we had a LOT of it with us. The patio outside the room was a wonderful place to have breakfast, right along with the seagulls. The people of Hofsas House were warm and welcoming. I would absolutely stay there again.

We were recommended to go to Vesuvio in Carmel in the evening but it was basic food and a flat atmosphere. The breakfast baskets in the mornings were delicious and they made life even more relaxing with breakfast in bed! And we could even see the ocean from our room!

  The rooms were very clean. The King suite was 2 very large rooms, much more then I had expected. The bathroom was attractively updated. The location was great for walking to restaurants, art galleries and shopping. It was quiet and for the price compares very nicely with some of the more expensive Inns in Carmel. I have been coming yearly to Carmel for more than 20 years and was very surprised to find t - Staff was nice, although they didn't seem to have many tips for visiting Carmel. The room is very cute, with a four-post bed. Some obvious effort was made to make what are slightly older accomodations look nicer and updated, without necessarily charging extra for it. It's also a decent value given its location (and quaintness) on the edge of the main shopping areas of Carmel.
