Bathrooms are updated with stone masonry throughout and updated fixtures. Walk in shower and bath tub. Huge (for hotel standards) flat screen, wall-mounted led tv, and hd channels. Beautiful onsite swimming pool and gym. Grounds are beautiful, staff was very friendly and accomodating.

  We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. Room was very nice and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. So nice to be close to all downtown shopping and especially liked the grocery story so close.   Very nice cozy hotel located in wonderful Carmel town. Big and comfortable room, kitchen and bathroom with one queen bed and one single bed (I stayed in the room 30 with my 15 y.o. son, local student who spent a long parents week-end with me), very friendly staff, nice view and ambience.And I didn't have any problems with wifi internet - it was r... ce que les gens disent » eally high-speed which was absolutely essential for me. - We loved the spaciousness of our room - we had a lovely little dining room and a kitchenette. The luggage storage area was fantastic, especially since we had a LOT of it with us. The patio outside the room was a wonderful place to have breakfast, right along with the seagulls. The people of Hofsas House were warm and welcoming. I would absolutely stay there again.

  Nice quiet and relaxing place to stay. Great location to walk into town. Owners were very helpful. - Very quiet,able to self cater to some extent given microwave and fridge.It is very handy, with a car, for Carmel and the general area.

  We would highly recomended this place! The location is very beautiful and Idyllic and perfect for totally relaxed holidays. The reception staff is very welcoming and helpfully. They are just 2 minutes to the incredible beach and 15 minutes walk to the downtown area of Carmel. We stayed there for our honeymoon and we found a nice congratulation card i our room. - Charming setting, amidst an enchanting neighborhood. The beach, just a block away was stunning. Close to the beautiful Pacific Coastline, restaurants and Hwy 1. The room was lovely along with the setting of the entire Inn. Gorgeous gardens. The staff was wonderful and extremely courteous. And... The breakfast was beyond my expectations. I would not only recommend The Colonial Terrace to friends, but would like to return again.
