  I have stayed at Anne's White Columnns many times. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!! Bob, is a wonderful host and Anne is an amazing cook!!! We thoroughly enjoyed Dylan this year and Andie took great care of us too. Good place to relax, also very close to Bar Harbor downtown and the bus stop to Acadia National Park. HIghly recommended.

  My husband and I really had a great time at Mira Monte and would for sure go back if we visit bar harbor again which I hope will be sooner than later. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was super yummy, and we really loved our room. The location was also great, we were close to the shops but also close to Acadia national park and close t... ce que les gens disent » o other small towns on the island. What I also liked about Mira Monte was if you wanted you could mingle with other guests or you could have you priv - The Victorian flavor of the house is perfect, right down to the antiques and decorations, our bathroom was updated and the little porch off the room was a nice surprise, as was the gas fireplace! The owner held a wine & cheese gathering before we left for dinner each night and entertained us with stories about the town and its history. Breakfast buffet was incredible with so many choices, including gluten free items! The walk to town was so close too. We loved it!

Loved the free bus stopping at the motel to go to town, that was a great plus! A warning - The Bar Harbor Motel provided everything we needed for our stay in Acadia National Park. It was close to the village of Bar Harbor but out of the hectic and crowded scene there. We could get into the park without having to go through downtown. There was a light breakfast fine for our needs, good TV, a very nice restaurant and brew pub right next door, with prime steak specials each night as well as good local brews on tap and a full bar (the Jack Russell Steakhouse). There was a laundry we used
