We really enjoy our staying in Calypso Motel. The staff members were really friendly and our room was clean. Also we liked that the location was close to the boardwalk and the beach. We will definitely stayed there again. staff was very curtious & friendly, location was great, room was clean.best place we have stayed in NJ yet!! all and all had a great time there, would def book again if comming back to wildwood !!!.

It had a kitchen which is good for down the shore. It was also clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful! It's small and the rooms can be tight but you're at the beach to be at the beach not your room. It's worth staying for the price. The staff was very friendly, the location was a block from the boardwalk. Ummmm..... due to husbands surgery , only prob we had was being on the 3rd floor. but still enjoyed our stay !!. Size of room and bed (but it is also what we paid for, so there is no real complaint here...we just know to book earlier and for larger space in the future). The fact that you had to cross the street for the pool was kind of annoying. Didn't get to use the pool, when coming back from the boardwalk. It was still early and daylight. The kids wanted to swim, but sign said closed at six. We booked a motel for the pool and close to beach. Disappointed for not being able to relax with the pool!,. the room was a little snug. Low water pressure in shower. Rooms were dated, old carpeting in hallways... I wish I would have gotten my cash deposit back the day I checked out. It's been a week and I have yet to receive my money back. The room was out dated, and the entire upstairs wreaked of cigarette smoke. We reported that another guest was smoking next to us, but nothing was done except the maid agreed it smelled like cigarettes. If you don't mind staying in a place as big as your bedroom closet...it's perfect. Also, staff does not speak english and had to find the sign that finally directed across the sreet to the other hotel where you had to go to check in. Parking was a mess, not enough space for evryone. Not strict with noise control at 1:30am. People were still Making noise. In the morning at 7:00am the staff were very loud making noise. I will not go back or recomend it to anyone.e. It's very old hotel, too noise outside, Lea and her mother are nice, very friendly, this hotel not for us.
