I stayed for Memorial Day weekend and was very happy with the motel. The motel is a block from the beach right in the center of the action. Great location surrounded by a variety of food spots and shopping. Although it's an older motel, the place is very clean and nicely maintained and very clean which is why I chose it based on the earlier reviews. I wasn't disappointed at all. It was a cool weekend so I used the fan which was sufficient to cool the room. The room had two double beds separated.
all reviews » The staff was very friendly and very quick to fix the couple of problems in our room. Great location across from the boardwalk and close to shops and restaurants. We stayed in a bungalow and were so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we were and how great our room was. We were apparently the only people to stay at the stardsut during an offseason visit and we were moved to anther property owned by corp. The Nantucket Motel is the place we stayed and we enjoyed our time there enough to book another weekend before we had left. Clean, good sized fridge and freezer combo, two seperate rooms with beds in seperate rooms. , nice pool, some covered parking, extremely close to moreys pier, 30 second walk to boardwalk. We all had a great time and hotel was very convenient and easy. excellent reception. very welcoming and accomodating. room was clean and great for the price. the motel was next to the board walk and few distance away from the rides. amazingly quiet compare to next door, quebec motel. Hotel was clean, room was very nice. Good location, beach is on the other side of the Boardwalk. Manager's name is Ivo, he was very courteous, friendly & conversive. Staff was also very courteous. They were very accommodating. Got there very early and they allowed us to check in . The location was great right across from the boardwalk. The room was very clean & sheets were crisp & smelled fresh.The weekend manager was very nice & helpful. Check in was easy, staff was nice and attentive. Room was good size. Great having 2 queens instead of 2 full size beds. AC worked great on a hot day. Pool was nice. Room was very clean, we opted for the 2 queen bed room with Kitchnette which included stove top and refrigerator (both very handy)staff was courteous and informative. The location and cleanliness was great! I felt safe with my family there. We did not swim in the pool there but there were a lot of other people using the pool. stardust was clean; there was plenty of parking (we used the lot, which was next to our room). the stardust was a quiet place, and really quite nice. Very friendly workers. We came down right after memorial day and stayed for 3 days and we had a great time. Very very clean and will come again!. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff was helpful and friendly. I liked how close I was to the beach and boardwalk. Friendly place just a short walk to the boardwalk. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Price was reasonable for mid-august stay. The location was perfect for the event we were attending on the beach. Just a short walk across the street and up a ramp. A bit noisy during the weekend because of the teenagers at the motel across the street. Leaky bathroom faucet. Not much,, one little thing was the covered parking spots have a steep slope which scrapes car if car is low, which ours is. But its avoidable if careful. Also there isn't always someone in the office, u have to call a number on the door and he will come down to help. Wasn't too big of a deal but strange. the stair case. especially with kids and bags, uncomfortable. The was very little hot water in the morning. Our showers were tepid. Room had recently been upgraded, but could have been a bit cleaner. Can't expect spotless, but there were hairs all over the bathroom. Mattress was like sleeping on a brick and the pillows were very thin. the vertical blinds were not enough to keep passerbyers from looking into the room. Bathrooms could use updating!. the only thing was that after renting a crib, and putting it between beds, there was not much room left. But, i guess the nice things outweighed the space thing. This is just an issue with other guests staying in the hotel. I did not like that the other guests were loud and obnoxious at 8 am. I do not like waking up to children screaming about whatever they want. Although the room was clean there was no room to walk around in the room. I would have no problem there for a night or two but could never stay longer then that. Tv was the old box,could not hook up Psp or dvd to watch movies. No hot water in the afternoon. No supplies for coffee maker. Pool area is a little small. Says free wifi access but you actually have to pay. Needs Dark out Shades, evening and early mornings light shine in the room. Not having an elevator to help going up the second level with all the luggage and belongings! But the young man in charge helped me with them. :-). Beds were not so comfy... Would have been nice to find toiletries ex small shampoo bottle lotion and conditioner like some of the other hotels. Had two queen size beds but only one blanket but no extra pillows. Really no cons. I would never come to the Atlantic County shore area in the summer. I hate the toll bridges along the coastal road. With all the traffic in the summer the toll boths must be a major bottleneck and cause added polution for the residents from the stopped cars. For this reason I would not recommend Wildwood or any other Atlantic County shore town to others. Price seemed a little high for this motel, because it is not an updated facility. Everything was clean, but it was all old. N/A. everything was fine. People smoking in pool area. beds weren't very comfortable. pillows were awful. no wifi. Small area. The sofa in the livingroom had an obvious large stain. The was a $20 cash deposit required at check in for the key. This was not advertised, although it was refundable guest should be aware before check in. A little run down, but motel is in the process of addressing these issues. shower facilities could be updated. no WiFi and better channels for TV. the outside could be spruced up. no clock. The showers need updating, the water came out very slow and didn't stay hot. When going to check in there was no one in the office, we had to go call a number and wait for someone to come over. But, the gentleman who did come to check us in was very nice and polite. While the room looked clean it smelled of mildew and had a damp feeling. No where in the booking information did it state that there was only one parking space allowed per room. It also didn't mention the $20 key holding fee guest are required to pay. Overpriced. The comfort. The rooms are too humid and there is no fan in the bathroom. There is AC, though. dated; beds are not comfy. Old Accomodations and staff unavailable. The pool was dirty garbage floating in it.No one available after 10pm at night,And it states some one is available at 9am, not true I kept walking over too there booth, and no one was available too 10am,They ask for a te dollar deposit for keys, And inside the room you book, They do not have what they offer online.Guaranteed parking not true,Had too pay too park across the street,Makes no sense, All lies.Horrible experience, Never again. Everything.
