  Bert serves an excellent breakfast and was very helpful providing hiking info. We relaxed for one hour in the hottub outside and shared one of Berts tastefull pizza's. A good place to stay! - We liked the hot tub barrel...very unique idea! The owner and service was exceptional! The rooms were clean and pretty.

  The Fiddler's Green Inn is a homey house, made from wood. It is located in the outskirts of Stowe: close enough to all relevant attractions, but distant enough to be quiet and romantic. Bud's a great host, and his breakfast are simple and good. We had Pancakes for the first morning, and French Toast for the second. If you'd like a place with some character, and some interaction with other guests (during breakfast), it's a perfec - Bud is an amazing Innkeeper. He's an old throw-back hippie like myself. The place is a bit far from the action in Stowe, but perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms are a bit small and rustic, but if you are aware of that they will not disappoint. Eat breakfast late, and you get to talk with the hosts essentially alone. Most of the others get up and out early to go hiking!

  I have never stayed in an Inn where I felt more cherished or appreciated. The owner Michelle and her Inn Director: Julie set the tone of friendliness and accomadation and the staff mirror those values. - This was by far one of the finest places we have ever visited.   Being greeted at the door was just the beginning of a wonderful stay in a beautiful mountain inn . Hospitality was beyond anywhere else we have ever stayed . Beautifully decorated inn and upscale gift shop . The pool area and grounds well maintained and adorned with flowers . The hospitality was amazing and not something you see these days.   Easy to find, convenient for my travel purposes. Inn keepers are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is healthy and delicious (I'm on a low-carb regimen.) The inn grounds are beautiful, the house is an historic, very attractive site. The wine and beer tasting room on the grounds adds interest. - Family owned and managed. Friendly service.   Loved the beautiful antique furnishings in a lovely old house. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Roxie the dachshund was a delight. - Friendly welcoming staff, clean clean clean, and great breakfast. Nice to sit at one big table with other guests and chat. Easy walking distance to town.
