  Bert serves an excellent breakfast and was very helpful providing hiking info. We relaxed for one hour in the hottub outside and shared one of Berts tastefull pizza's. A good place to stay! - We liked the hot tub barrel...very unique idea! The owner and service was exceptional! The rooms were clean and pretty.

  The Fiddler's Green Inn is a homey house, made from wood. It is located in the outskirts of Stowe: close enough to all relevant attractions, but distant enough to be quiet and romantic. Bud's a great host, and his breakfast are simple and good. We had Pancakes for the first morning, and French Toast for the second. If you'd like a place with some character, and some interaction with other guests (during breakfast), it's a perfec - Bud is an amazing Innkeeper. He's an old throw-back hippie like myself. The place is a bit far from the action in Stowe, but perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms are a bit small and rustic, but if you are aware of that they will not disappoint. Eat breakfast late, and you get to talk with the hosts essentially alone. Most of the others get up and out early to go hiking!

  Being greeted at the door was just the beginning of a wonderful stay in a beautiful mountain inn . Hospitality was beyond anywhere else we have ever stayed . Beautifully decorated inn and upscale gift shop . The pool area and grounds well maintained and adorned with flowers . The hospitality was amazing and not something you see these days.
