  Upon arrival our room had been mistakenly assigned to another guest. The desk staff worked diligently to find another for our first night. Upon checkout, without my asking my bill had been lowered and the hotel had taken the initiative. We all mistakes. Smart suites admitted it and did something to compensate. Thank you. The manager James was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and met any request we had. He went above and beyond. both in terms of service and professionalism.

  We stayed here for skiing and snowshoeing. 10 minute drive to Stowe Mountain and snowshoeing/hiking trails (could also have snowshoed right from the resort). Staff were very friendly and helpful.   We had a deluxe one bedroom suite which was perfect for myself, my husband and two adult children (17, 21). Cathy, the desk manager was extremely helpful, courteous and personable. We had originally booked a 2 bedroom suite which was too big and helped us contact the online site we used to book the room to better suit our needs.

The grounds are large and there is plenty of room to walk and enjoy the outdoors. We were there for autumn leaf season, so weather and skiing were not the reason for our trip, and the quiet area was welcome. The condo was very comfortable, spacious, and well equipped.
