  This was the best 2 day vacation I have ever experienced. The staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. I even learned how to make waffles!!!This was the 1st time I have stayed with Clarion property and it will not be the last. EXCELLENT!!! - I loved everything bout our stay...   The rustic setting was great. The unit was well built. It's close to Gatlinburg, but not too close (about 10 miles away, a short drive) and is adjacent to Smoky Mtn Natl Park. We were impressed at the cleanliness.

  The hotel was beautiful, had old-world charm but all the modern conveniences, including a refrigerator in the room. The tall ceilings, big window, and huge bathroom were fabulous. It was convenient to ETSU and all the stores and activities in Johnson City. - Everything! The entire hotel had a classic, turn of the century feel, yet felt very new... what people say » throughout. The staff was fantastic and Wellington's will cause anyone to break their diet for all the right reasons! The Carnegie is an outstanding value!

  I loved having the river right outside our door. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The ducks, geese, and heron entertained us early in the morning and later in the afternoon. The breakfast was scrumptious every morning. Very impressive in this day & age. Our room was good sized and very comfortable. I needed a plastic bag and one of the cleaning people was more than happy to provide one. He was friendly and nice.

  Only stayed for one night. Front desk helpful in changing room since we could hear the noise of the vending machines next to us. Great proximity to beautiful roads for riding the motorcycle.   This is easily the best place to stay for a city break in Memphis. It's a bit more expensive than most of the other hotels but the Harbour Town location is a beatiful place to relax whilst still being close to the downtown area of Memphis (20 minute stroll or $10 taxi). If you are a big Elvis fan you might want to stay near to Graceland and have Elvis themed events going on all around you. Otherwise stay at the - The ambiance, the lounge with the fire going, glass of fizz on arrival, the charming reception staff. Our room was large and airy, very comfortable a little way out of town, but that was OK for us, as we didn't want a big city hotel chain. Very personal, very friendly, very individual. All in all a very good experience compared to large hotels and some very expensive hotels. This is the least we have paid in the past few years of travelling, and one of the most positive experiences
