Everything! The house was built in 1805 so it had the character and workmanship of the period. The gardens were beautiful, fragrant and appealing. My wife, 7 yr old daughter and I all had a great time at Beds on Clouds in Windham, Ny. A cozy little town, w/ some nice restaurants in walking distance, including a brew pub. Great access to the Catskills and a ski Mnt within view. The Inn is eclectic, charming and comfortable. The neighborhood -
We enjoyed our stay here in Brooklyn. The owner (Nicole) is very warm, nice and very helpful. We spent a great time talking with Nicole. If you need help, just ask! We also felt very safe and the area is really quite. So after a busy day in Manhattan you can relax and sleep without any disturbances.
The rooms are very clean and the equipment is excellent (including washing machine, laundry dryer, hairdryer, computer and printer, ac's etc.). The fridge was always full with water and necessary

Great place to stay. Very clean. Jim is an awesome host and makes you feel very welcome. We arrived in very heavy rain and he was outside with umbrellas for us. Then took us on a tour and suggested places for us to eat. We stayed in the overlook room which was very clean and has a small sun room with two seats and a small table which was awesom

Great Restored Mansion of inventor D. H. Burrell who invented the milking machine and the oil burner( What a combination). The mansion has a 19th century elevator and a hydroelectic plant that was powered by a stream that ran through the house. The rooms are large and bring you back in time to another period in history. The staff bends over backwards for you and my wife and I enjoyed finding this gem. The Mansion is on a hill overlooking the town and the Erie Canal. The view is one of a kind.

Charming old fashioned inn. Furnishings are old/antique. Breakfast room/lounge encourages mingling with other guests. The place reminded me of the inns of my childhood, which were old-fashioned even then. Very charming, if you like that kind of thing.
