Everything! The house was built in 1805 so it had the character and workmanship of the period. The gardens were beautiful, fragrant and appealing. Helen was a gracious host who cooked us delicious breakfasts and gave us tips on where to go and what to see. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day of cycling into the Falls on borrowed bicycles from the Danner House. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the comfort, coziness and beauty of the Danner House. It is worth the trip!.

The free bikes were a nice added touch. Breakfast was pretty good, eggs, toast, and sausage. There was nothing I did not like. It was all good. While the bathrooms were private they weren't ensuite but that is understandable because of the house layout. Couldn't stand the bed. It was horribly soft- have never had a bed like this before. I guess the only small thing was that there was a cat that we did not know about. We are both quite allergic and so took anti-histamines for the two nights there. We did not have anything to complain about. no bathroom in the room, but no biggie! I'd go there again.. The bathroom was down the hall. Small room. Could have seating in hall outside the room for four. Even folding chairs would do. No place to relax outside of room except outside. The bed was too soft and the pillow was too big, so our sleep wasn't that good. The tassimo was a nice free added touch, but it said there would be hot chocolate, but there was only coffee and tea. Bathroom and toilette outside the room.
